Annie Faivre
French artist Annie Faivre has designed more than 40 scarves for Hermes since the late 1970s. Faivre scarves always have at least one little monkey hidden in her intricately-detailed designs which gives a fun 'Where's Waldo?' aspect to her work.
There was a time when Ye Olde Scarf Drawer was dominated by her work (I've bid au revoir to nine of her designs in multiple colorways) and anything she produced became an instant grail. She's still well-represented in YOSD (so much detail in her work - always something new to be discovered) and if space and funds were unlimited I'd totally re-acquire that which has departed..
