Zoe Pauwels
Sadly, I can't find out much about Zoe Pauwels - what is her background? what inspires her? does she have a particular method? Boo. I do like knowing a bit about the artists behind the scarves I love. Oh well.
I think at one time or another every colorway of Reve d'Australie - carre, cashmere, moussie - has passed through Ye Olde Scarf Drawer. That design makes Zoe Pauwels an important part of my collecting even if the quantity is limited. The other Pauwels designs in YOSD show how versatile an artist she is: capturing aboriginal art style, creating a more realistic scene in Shackleton, and producing the wildness of L'Ivresse. I'd love multiple colorways of these designs and shall endeavor to make this happen when I win the lottery.
