David Bartholomeo
David Bartholomeo's method is unconstrained. If you've seen him working (his Instagram account has a lot of videos of him plying his trade), it looks as if he's grabbing random colors and scribbling wantonly without rhyme or reason. Even his own description of his artistic approach defies tradition.
His 2021 design Quatre Chevaux is less chaotic than what I've seen on Insta. We do see shapes and forms but in a wild and detailed composition that I've rarely seen in Hermes scarves, mens' or womens'. I haven't heard of any future scarves coming from him which makes me ever more curious about Hermes' recruiting process and retaining criteria.
