It has been 80+ years since Hermes produced its first scarf (Jeu des omnibus et dames blanches, designed by Robert Dumas and issued in 1937). In that time Hermes has produced more than 2,000 scarf designs; I'm aware of more than 125 designers of womens scarves, and as time marches on that roster grows.
My personal collection encompasses more than 30 artists. I lean toward the newer, younger artists but there are some more traditional styles in here too.
