Julia Abadie
Despite her long history with Hermes, I haven't been able to read much about Julia Abadie beyond a listing of her scarf creations. When I started collecting in 2003, I'd add anything I could afford; several of her most classic designs had brief stays in Ye Olde Scarf Drawer. My tastes in designs, colors and formats are constantly evolving and I've been more into whimsical designs and bright colorways for a few years; as such out of the artist's 30+ designs I have less than a handful of Abadies. Weirdly, most of what I do have all are in some shade of brown which I usually avoid because most browns render me corpse-like. So, Julia Abadie gets some kind of award for pulling me out of my style/color comfort zone.
