HERMES 90CM PLEATED SILK SCARF - RIVES FERTILES BY CHRISTINE HENRY
2005 was the Year of the River, and Christine Henry's Rives Fertiles design. It depicts life along the Fertile Crescent - the waterways of the Euphrates, Tigris and Nile rivers. The earliest civilizations were established in this region, owing to the access to water. While burgeoning communities centered on agriculture, the waterways also opened up trade between societies and the exchange and growth of ideas.
Similar to her "People du Vent", Rives Fertiles has so many details it's fun to spend time exploring them all.
