SCARF KNOTTING

Having a beautiful scarf is one thing. Tying it into a knot that shows off the design and/or completes an outfit is something else entirely. I've spent most of my adult life looking at scarves with simple knots in mind: the Cowboy, a basic bias fold, a basic asymmetrical fold, the Sailor Knot, a necktie. I then discovered the Braided Hacking Knot, the Infinity Knot and weaving two scarves together. I felt pretty on top of things.

As my mother would say when I was a small child practicing the piano and hitting an incorrect key: WRONG! I've discovered so many skilled knotters and am slowly building my repertoire. I am far from expert, but even a clumsy person such as myself can make progress.
