This 1986 design was Michel Duchene's first for Hermes, and has been re-issued several times in many formats including porcelain objets. The design depicts hunting in India (1986 was a Year of India, as was 2008). There are birds, tigers, foxes and gazelles being pursued by hunters on horseback, on elephants and on foot. In the center, the jungle flora hides the animals.

Size: appx 35” x 35” or 90cm square (PM or Petit Modele)
Material: 65% cashmere/35% silk blend

This cashmere blend has a rich chocolate brown border and shades of tan and rust. Pops of yellow, blue and orange.

This PMCS is in very good pre-owned condition with the caretag carefully removed. Ships in its original orange box.
