​SCARF OF THE DAY

I don't wear a scarf EVERY day, but certainly more days than (k)not. I spent most of my 20+ year collecting life using simple knots: the Cowboy, a basic bias fold, a basic asymmetrical fold (aka the Peter Pan knot), the Sailor Knot, a necktie. I then discovered the Braided Hacking Knot, the Infinity Knot and weaving two scarves together. I felt pretty on top of things. Started snapping photos of SOTD a few years ago, emboldened by a new affinity for pattern-mixing. Then I discovered pleating.

I'm still learning and practicing. Some combos and some knots knock it out of the park (does the bordeaux Awoooo! ever look anything other than spectacular???) and others, well, not so much.
