HERMES 90CM SILK SCARF FOR SALE - MONSIEUR ET MADAME

This 90cm silk scarf was one of Bali Barret's first designs for Hermes. Monsieur et Madame shows a man and a woman in silhouette, filled with Hermes objects.

A Kelly bag for Madame, an Haut à Courroie weekend bag for Monsieur, a Chaîne d’Ancre bracelet for Madame, Clou de Selle cufflinks for Monsieur, a scarf for Madame, a patterned necktie for Monsieur, Calèche eau de toilette for Madame, a harness for Monsieur… These two striking silhouettes act as ambassadors for the brand and represent some of Hermès’ most emblematic creations. In the 1920s, a brand advertisement was created in this style, and its spirit and imagination served as the inspiration for this scarf.

The scarf was released in the mid-00s, and the white interior has faded over time. There is a thread pull shown in the final photo.
