HERMES 100cm CASHMERE SCARF - GRAND CARROSSE ROYAL
by CLAUS RYE
When Hermes issues a silly design, I'm all in! Not only do I love the 100cm size and the marine shade of navy blue, I adore the expressions on the horses created by Claus Rye. Each horse's wild eyes communicate a different and ridiculous emotion. Impossible to resist, even though I have so many blue cashmere scarves!
From the Hermes Story Behind:
Danish artist Claus Rye is known for his animal portraits. With humor and wit, he portrays elephants, wolves or owls in unexpected situations with anthropomorphic undertones. The finalist of the "Grand Prix du Carre Hermes" competition launched in 2019, illustrating a great royal carriage freewheeling! A dozen horses have taken the reins. Among these playful horses, which one are you? The comedian, the charmer or the sulky one?
