HERMES 90cm SILK SCARF - FLEURS DE L'OPERA
by JULIE ABADIE
Let me be clear: I do not like the opera. I dislike it so much I will walk out of a performance (with the exception of the Marriage of Figaro, but only because it reminds me of Bugs Bunny's version). But two aspects of this scarf make it a CDH: the colorway is absolutely divine - the rust, black and blue is a sublime combination, and it reminds me of my mother who is a huge opera fan and is forever disappointed in my lack of appreciation for the art.
The names of famous operas surround florals linked to the works. A detailed write-up appears on Carre de Paris's site, citing the operas that inspired the roses and carnations and palm fronds and more.
