HERMES SILK TWILLY FOR SALE - BRIDES DE GALA EN FLEURS by HUGO GRYGKAR and CHRISTINE HENRY
|
No one does florals quite like Christine Henry. When Hermes updated the classic Brides de Gala design for the 2024 season they turned to the queen of flowers. A lovely and feminine update to a classic equestrian design.
From the Hermes Story Behind: Based on the design of the Brides de Gala en Fleurs scarf Created through the combined talents of Christine Henry and Hugo Grygkar, these reimagined Brides de Gala adorn one of the Maison's most emblematic equestrian designs with flowers and fruit. Forget-me-nots, hibiscus and anemones alternate with blueberries and fig trees in a skillfully orchestrated pastoral symphony. Bursting with fragrance and color, the original buckles and harnesses are now ready for spring, showering us with nature and poetry. This twilly is colorway 14 (Bleu jean, rose, saumon). The floral side is a steel blue, the Brides de Gala side is rose pink with a darker salmon pink line art of the classic design. One issue to declare: there is a small pinpoint mark that I can't tell if it's an after-market issue or a printing mishap. Regardless, this flaw is noticeable only to those with keen and hunting eyes; this is wearable around the neck, around the wrist as a bracelet, or tied to a fabulous handbag. RE-HOMED Yes, I'm interested! |
